I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 10th instant and to transmit to you for your information a letter from the Comptroller of the Stationery Office, by whom the Stationery for the Government of Hong Kong was supplied, in explanation of the deficiency stating that an abatement of £3.6.8 will be allowed in the next account on account of the short weight of the Paper supplied.
